Social Media Manager

We are seeking an experienced social media manager who will manage our social media accounts in collaboration with a team of content designers. You will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing and developing unique text, image and video content for distinct business units, interacting with our followers, and administering posts to enhance our marketing objectives and execute our strategy. This position is highly strategic and requires great attention to detail. 

 

As a social media manager, you must have comprehensive knowledge of content management tools, analytics and community engagement strategies. The candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of the most recent developments in digital technologies and social media trends. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement the platform-specific social media strategies 

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy to align with business goals 

  • Set specific objectives, analyze, and report on success metrics 

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content across our social media platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) 

  • Develop briefs for coordinating with the creative team to develop content for social channels 

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency 

  • Monitor & review comments and respond to inquiries in a timely manner 

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences 

  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., cover photos, profile pictures and blog layout) 

  • Suggest and implement new tactics to develop brand awareness 

  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications 

  • Monitor SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and web traffic metrics 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field 

  • 3-5 years of experience as a social media manager creating & executing social media strategies 

  • Experience in content management 

  • Excellent copywriting skills 

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics 

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels 

  • Must be able to present plans and analysis clearly in writing and through in person presentations  

  • Skilled in analytics, multitasking and well-organized 

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally 

  • Ideal: experience in B2B and B2C
