The Digital Marketing Specialist Role

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing channel strategy alongside the Marketing Strategist and actively managing and optimizing those channels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You will be responsible for: 

  • Checking into each individual marketing channel/program daily to ensure things are running as planned, making adjustments as needed

  • Working closely with the Marketing Strategist to ensure client objectives are being met

  • Setting up campaigns in Google Ads and needed social channels with the proper targeting criteria

  • Conducting keyword research and working with the Marketing Strategist to create and implement SEM and SEO strategy

  • Analyzing metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis, and putting together client analytics reports that dive into channel performance and give recommendations for better results or specific marketing pushes, such as product launches, new business acquisition, etc.

The Digital Marketing Specialist should have experience in the following programs:

  • Google Ads

  • LinkedIn Ads

  • Facebook Ads

  • Instagram Ads

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Tag Manager

  • MailChimp / Pardot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Agorapulse / Hubspot / Hootsuite

  • Critical thinking and problem solving 

  • Ability to analyze campaign results and draw conclusions and recommendations

  • Knowledgeable in SEM, SEO and social media marketing

  • Highly communicative and able to work with a wide range of people, skills and personalities

  • Passionate about finding the latest and greatest trends in digital advertising

  • Ability to effectively work with a creative team to develop marketing and sales assets for marketing campaigns

  • Familiarity with both lead generation and ABM strategies 

  • Experience managing a website development, a plus

  • Marketing systems set up and integration experience, a plus

  • B2B or Industrial marketing experience, a plus
