Senior Brand Marketing Consultant
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand Marketing Consultant to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of business strategy concepts and an ability to translate our clients’ business objectives into actionable marketing plans to support growth. The ideal candidate will have experience deeply researching market trends, competitors, customers, and growth drivers to identify insights beyond the obvious with an ever-present intellectual curiosity. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to draw insights from research conducted and develop value propositions, messaging, positioning, and creative briefs in support of an overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities:

Interface with clients to build relationships while drawing out key business, market, competitive, audience, leadership, management, and operational insights

Perform in-depth research to understand client businesses, markets, competitive landscape, growth drivers, and audiences and derive insights from research to identify new growth opportunities

Document customer journey maps based on market research to identify customer needs and pain points

Define unique value propositions and compelling brand narratives that inform and inspire—and the detailed messaging strategies that support them across all markets including creating brand messaging, message houses, positioning, and content strategies that align with client business objectives

Develop robust marketing plans that include positioning statements and brand strategy

Write creative briefs and work closely with the creative team from kickoff to concept; review final assets to ensure alignment with brand and marketing strategies

Work with creative team to ensure full understanding of the overall marketing strategy and plans for each program asset

Collaborate with marketing operations team to understand in-market program performance and optimize program strategy and assets

Maintain adaptability and be able to quickly and confidently form an data-backed opinion on client requests

Act as a mentor to others to instill continuous learning and improvement, develop and coach members of the team

Develop a team culture, where expertise is shared, continuous learning and creative innovation is the norm.

Be a champion for marketing and ensure the customers' voice is at the center of all decision making

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
8+ years’ experience in B2B marketing strategy, integrated multi-channel marketing, marketing communications leadership and other adjacent disciplines

Demonstrated success in developing effective brand marketing strategies that have helped achieve quantifiable corporate objectives

Experience developing and presenting strategy presentations to client management teams

Ability to understand complex clients, markets, audiences and sales cycles

Apt at shaping a compelling value narrative around customer, market and business data  
-
Experience working closely with creative teams to develop marketing program assets  
-
Understanding of a variety of marketing channels; digital, traditional and experiential 
-
Experience with account-based marketing initiatives

Persuasive communications skills and ability to provide constructive feedback with confidence and courtesy

Management consulting experience preferred, but not required
