Marketing Project Manager

As the Marketing Project Manager at Unleaded, you will be responsible for keeping asset and content creation on track and in line with the client marketing strategy. You will focus on keeping the project management system updated, working closely with the creative and web teams to keep them on-task and on-budget and ensure created assets (digital ads, sales collateral, etc.) and content (blogs, articles, webinars, etc.) are in sync with the client marketing strategy, set in place by the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategist. This is a people-oriented role that will require a lot of collaboration across departments and the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once. This is an on-site position at the Unleaded office in Houston, TX.


  • Checking in with marketing, creative and web team members on a daily basis to make sure questions are answered and roadblocks are addressed so projects are running according to schedule

  • Working in our project management system (Workamajig) to set up and schedule projects, keep project statuses updated and manage hour allocations for the creative and web team members

  • Owning the organization of our visual collaboration platform (Miro) and server to ensure review processes are running smoothly and all files are saved correctly

  • Ensuring in progress and ongoing projects stay on-schedule and on-budget, as well as determining and managing change orders where applicable

  • Working closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategist to stay updated on strategy and initiatives for all clients

  • Making sure all materials and content created are aligned with our clients' marketing strategies and initiatives and will achieve the objectives as defined by the marketing team

  • 1+ years of marketing experience

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with multiple personality types 

  • The discipline and work ethic to create great work time and again

  • An understanding of basic marketing, branding and advertising principles

  • Ability to effectively communicate and hold team members to project deadlines, mandatories and parameters

  • Able to manage stressful situations well, stay organized and put in extra hours when needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, advertising, communications, journalism, marketing or a related discipline nice but we have an open mind
