The Brand & Marketing Consultant Role

As a brand and marketing consultant at Unleaded you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of our client’s business, the markets they serve, and developing brand and marketing strategies that align with client objectives. You’ll work with a team of consultants and strategists who, together, advise clients on market opportunities, positioning strategy, messaging, marketing and sales strategies and branding. In this role you will develop long-term relationships with clients as a strategic advisor and work with creative teams to deliver content and assets that support sales and marketing efforts. 


  • Researching and identifying market opportunities and developing research reports and/or presentations

  • Creating marketing and sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and presenting recommendations to client executive leadership

  • Working with colleagues to concept, create and deliver sales and marketing assets such as: websites, sales presentations, case studies, proposals, product sales materials, sales and event experiences

  • Managing client marketing budget

  • Providing ongoing client recommendations, education and advice on marketing best practices

  • 5+ years of experience in business or marketing consulting

  • Knowledge of data analysis and market research

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate data into effective strategies

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices and principles

  • Able to effectively develop and deliver presentations, reports and proposals

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance

  • Ability to work in a team-centric environment where collaboration and teamwork is paramount to success

  • Strong communication skills (both internal communication with teammates and external communication with clients)

  • Able to quickly problem solve for client requests or questions that come up in meetings

  • Strong leadership skills while being able to adapt to different working styles
